Dennis Otatina

Dennis Otatina is a Partner at Dentons in Uganda, where he heads the Corporate and Commercial practice group. With over 13 years of experience, Dennis has been a trusted advisor to clients on various business transactions, including financings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets across Uganda and East Africa. He recently played a key role in setting up the first private equity fund based in Uganda and regularly guides both local and international funds on their investments.

Dennis is known for offering practical and innovative solutions that meet regulatory requirements, minimize risks, and ensure swift, successful deal closures. Throughout his career, he has supported investors, funders, and businesses in organizing both domestic and international corporate loans, as well as handling corporate reorganizations and debt restructurings.
