This report covers Greenwatch’s implementation activities for the period January 2022 to December 2022. It is a reflection of Greenwatch’s general performance, an overview of outcomes and impacts from the implementation of our projects and assesses challenges and lessons learned.Our events and projects include among others; the Fourth Judicial Training on Climate Justice, celebrating the International Clean-up Day of River Nile, our very the first journalists’ training on the environment and climate reporting, community reach-outs, research and Public Interest Environment Litigation (PIEL).

Greenwatch
We believe that environmental rights can be better exercised when people have access to information, can participate in decisions that affect their surroundings and have access to justice incase their rights are violated. Greenwatch exists to ensure that every individual in Uganda knows that they have environmental rights and these rights can be fully exercised through access to information, justice and public participation.
